Stroll through the narrow streets of Bonifacia, discovering numerous art galleries and local craft stores. Shop for quality products in local grocery stores: charcuterie, jams and condiments are waiting to be taken home or given as gifts to friends and family.
Dive into summer!
Stroll and lose yourself in the Citadelle
Bonifacio, sea view
While many of you look out over Bonifacio’s “goulet” from the top of the citadel, or try out the SPMB boat tour, we also recommend discovering the cliffs by kayak, sailboat or catamaran. These gentle means of transport allow you to enjoy the area at your own pace, while taking care of nature. They also allow you to get as close as possible to the sea caves, which are no longer accessible for safety reasons.
The must-do tour
Summer events
This summer begins with the Fête de la musique in the town: citadel and marina. Stroll to the rhythms of jazz, opera, rock, pop or Corsican songs. It’s a chance to discover the city in a whole new way as night falls. At the beginning of July, Festi Lumi, the summer’s flagship event, takes you on a nocturnal journey to illuminate historic monuments, with immersive and interactive light shows. Finally, throughout the summer, the De Renava contemporary art biennial invites you to visit little-known, unusual or usually closed-to-the-public heritage sites, where you’ll be treated to a selection of digital exhibitions.
Summer experiences
A night out in Bonifacio is a great way to get to know the town in a different way, with a little less crowds. And with pleasant temperatures. Stroll along the marina and choose the restaurant that suits your taste from the wide range of professional restaurants on offer. Enjoy an ice cream or pick up a few sweets with your children. Marvel at the illuminated superyachts on the Quai d’Honneur or further afield, towards the commercial port. Reserve your place at the B’52 open-air bar-booth for renowned evening festivities.
