Born of a shared passion for singing, the Isulatine group brings together three female singers, Marilyne Pietrucci, Laure Degiovani and Elisabeth Volpei, and guitarist Jimmy Ronchi. Isulatine is one of those groups that strongly represent the sensibility of Corsican polyphonic singing by women. While their repertoire includes traditional pieces, their artistic approach is above all directed towards creation.

This deliberate and cultivated eclecticism is omnipresent in their latest album, Tesse: "Our attachment to our land is reflected throughout the album, our aim being, in all humility, to create a strong link between our tradition, songs that will always be rooted in us and constant creativity in the Corsican language.
With a large number of concerts to their credit in Corsica, this group is also an ambassador for the island's culture, having performed extensively in France as well as in Italy and Spain.

Presentation of the artists :

Elisabeth Volpei Parigi: passion in its purest form, an immersion in traditional music brought her on stage to host certain evenings before she began composing melodies and creating within the group. It's a passion she shares with young people through her educational work.

Maryline Pietrucci: singer with the group Voce Latine (Diana Di L'Alba), she expresses both gentleness and strength in an almost childlike tone of voice, and demonstrates a natural mastery of polyphonic singing.

Laure Degiovani: the latest addition to the group, Laure soars to harmonious melodies. Her vocal technique is already well established at such a young age. She's been singing since she was a child, and has already taken part in musical projects with a well-known singer in Corsica and beyond. Used to performing live, she has shown incredible maturity in our group.

Jimmy Ronchi: a talented guitarist, he is also a composer and arranger. The meeting between Isulatine and Jimmy was a natural one. Jimmy has invented even more modern sounds for the group, always pushing their creativity further.

Price: €20 (free for children under 12).
