Spartera is a vocal and musical ensemble. Made up of six Corsican singers and musicians, the group offers various services, ranging from traditional Corsican polyphony to the entertainment of weddings, evenings and festive events.
“Sharing”, as the name of the group indicates, is at the center of the group’s vision and conception of singing; just like transmission and the pleasure of singing.
The offers offered by Spartera are available on several levels:
Concerned about preserving the authenticity of Corsican singing, Spartera offers services rooted in the traditional island heritage (polyphonic and acoustic concerts with songs and guitars, traditional mass sung in polyphony, song/music entertainment combining ancient Corsican repertoire and contemporary songs).
More varied performances are also offered, combining Corsican songs and traditional and international variety songs (in French, English, Spanish, Italian in particular). These are generally offered as part of events such as cocktails or wedding meals, private entertainment or catering evenings, fair entertainment, etc.
