From 01 to 15 August, every day from 11am to 8pm, visual artist Sylvie Collu will be exhibiting her work in the Salle du Corps de Garde, at the Bastion de l'Étendard.
Sylvie Collu offers a unique take on pop art with her 'Strip Art', an innovative technique that sublimates icons from music, film, art and fashion. Using a meticulous process, she covers iconic photographs with braided strips of paper, creating colourful mosaics and fascinating visual depth.
Each work is set off by a designer metal frame, where graphics, collage and photography come together in a resolutely modern neo-pop art style. An invitation to rediscover the emblematic figures of our culture in a new light.
