Traditional Bonifacian costumes and jewellery from the XVIIIᵉ and XIXᵉ centuries reveal their role in the social, cultural and religious life of the period. Dresses offered to the Virgin, precious ornaments and everyday objects bear witness to the elegance and fervour of the Bonifacians of yesteryear. A number of previously unseen items, from sacristies or private collections, will also be displayed alongside objects from other regions of Corsica.
Open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 1pm and 2.30pm to 6.30pm.
Exceptionally, it will be open from 10am to 6pm on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September, during the European Heritage Days.
Admission is free.
Bonifacio Town Hall's Heritage Department is offering free guided tours, subject to prior booking, on Wednesdays 10 and 17 and Friday 19 September, from 10am to 11am.
