From 28 June to 4 October 2025, the Centre Pompidou and De Renava will be collaborating for the second time on a sensory exhibition in Corsica, entitled "Plein Soleil".
This new encounter between the collections of the national museum and the heritage of the town of Bonifacio brings together just over twenty works from the Centre Pompidou's visual arts, new media and design departments, covering a period of some 60 years of creation (1958 - 2021).
Plein Soleil offers an immersive, atmospheric experience of wandering through light and colour, which the artists explore in their physical, perceptual and philosophical dimensions, weaving an intimate link between man and his environment in a relationship that is essential to our understanding of the world. In this way, it cuts across the many currents and disciplines that seek to reconnect humanity with nature through art.
Discover the works of the following artists:
Robert Irwin, Carlos Cruz Diez, Maurizio Nannucci, Mary Corse, Ange Leccia, Chris Marker, Rose Lowder, Laurent Grasso, Elisabetta Benassi, Phil Niblock, Mireille Kassar, Judy Chicago, Chihiro Tanaka and Studio Drift.
Open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 8pm.
Admission: €7 full price, €5 concessions (students of art, art history, architecture or design, and young people up to the age of 26, on presentation of proof of age), free admission for under-18s and residents of Corsica (on presentation of proof of identity and tax assessment or ICOM card, press card, Maison des Artistes card).
Guided tours are available every day at 11am, at no extra charge and without prior booking.
Meeting point at the Montlaur barracks.
Bookings can be made by clicking on the "Book" button or at the tourist information offices of the Office Municipal de Tourisme.
