At the end of 2013, the author moved to Kyiv in Ukraine's Maïdan Square for two years, just a few days before what came to be known as the 'Dignity Revolution'. She forged a love affair with the city and decided to compose a musical repertoire about this period of turmoil, when the power of the fork in the road was played out before her very eyes.

To finish writing, she returned in February 2022, unaware that history, war this time, would shake her once again. Opening 10 years of diaries reveals poems and songs, like magic formulas to exorcise powerlessness.

To celebrate the light that is revealed in the chaos, despite everything. To mark the release of her first book, the singer-songwriter brings her words to life in a reading-concert performance. The spoken voice weaves with soundscapes created live with her looper, keyboard and sound objects, often slipping into melody: and sometimes opening up musical oases.

It's a journey into the intimate, through the collective upheavals, a gentle counter-offensive.

"This poetic chronicle is extremely powerful. With their sensitive and humble dance, the words carry us along between the heart and the edge.
Antoine Choplin

Premiered in July 2023 in Avignon / Maison de la Poésie - Le Figuier Pourpre.
