Bonifacio for women!
What if the traditional historical tour of the Upper Town were told in a different way?
Through the eyes of women.
On 8 March, International Women's Rights Day, Bonifacio is being revealed from a whole new angle: that of the women who, often in silence, have shaped the city's history.
This unique tour invites you to discover the heritage of the citadel: these women, sometimes invisible, sometimes celebrated, who have resisted, passed on and watched over the soul of Bonifacio. Whether they worked in the shadows or in the spotlight of history, their legacy deserves to be told.
A guided tour led by Nela Nino, guide and lecturer with the Association des Guides de l'Extrême-Sud.
Practical information:
- Meeting point at 11am, in front of the Office Municipal de Tourisme de la Citadelle (2 Rue Fred Scamaroni)
- Free admission
- Reservation required
- Visit limited to 30 people
- Duration: 1h30
The tour may be cancelled in the event of bad weather.
Bookings can be made by clicking on the "Book" button or at the tourist information offices of the Municipal Tourist Office.
