Privacy policy

TheOffice Municipal de Tourisme de Bonifacio processes personal data (hereinafter referred to as “Personal Data”) concerning you when you use this website (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”). As the data controller, we respect your privacy and protect the personal data of the users of our Site. The purpose of this policy is to inform you of the methods of collection, processing and use of Your Personal Data and of your rights in terms of the protection of personal data with regard to the applicable provisions on the subject, in particular Law 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms known as “Informatique et libertés” in its latest version and with the RGPD (General Data Protection Regulation) in application since May 25, 2018.

This Policy sets out the principles and guidelines for the protection of Your Personal Data, which includes Personal Data collected on – or via – the Site.

The Office Municipal de Tourisme de Bonifacio collects Personal Data online, including by e-mail, or offline; this policy applies regardless of the method of collection or processing.

We endeavor to take reasonable technical measures to prevent any loss or misappropriation during collection or storage of data that you may have communicated to us, and to prevent any communication to unauthorized third parties.

Contact form
Data are transmitted by the user of the site who wishes to send a remark or a report. The information collected from this form is sent to the department responsible for managing comments on the Bonifacio Municipal Tourist Office website. Your data will be kept for a maximum of 36 months.

Your rights
In accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify and delete data concerning you, and the right to obtain a copy of the personal data we hold in a structured electronic format (portability).

You also have the right to object on legitimate grounds to your personal data being processed, and the right to object to your data being used for canvassing purposes, particularly commercial canvassing.

Data retention

We keep your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary and proportionate to the purpose for which it was collected, i.e. for a maximum of 3 years from the last time you interacted with us on your own initiative (e.g. logging in to your account).

After the aforementioned periods, your data will be anonymized for statistical purposes or purely deleted.

This privacy policy may be modified or amended at any time.
