Getting to Bonifacio

Once you’re in Corsica, there are several ways to get to Bonifacio. Buses, cabs, chauffeur-driven vehicles or camper vans: here’s an overview of the options available to you:

Coming by bus

Corsica’s main towns are served by a network of buses. Bus travel to airports and ferry terminals is a great way to visit Corsica, especially Bonifacio. At a lower price and in slow mode. Departures and arrivals take place on the Marina between the Marine tourist information office and parking lot P1.

As fares and timetables can change throughout the year, we recommend that you contact the various transport companies to refine your itinerary or, failing that, the Tourist Information Offices. We also invite you to consult the website that lists all bus and train lines in Corsica: www.corsicabus.org

Last but not least, the Communauté de Commune du Sud-Corse offers you its A Berlinaintercommunal transport network , with three lines connecting all the communes in the intercommunal area (of which Bonifacio is one) . Find outmore about the A Berlina Bonifacio-Porto-Vecchio line.

Coming by cab

Chauffeur-driven vehicles (VTC)

Chauffeur-driven vehicles give you the freedom to travel alone or with others. Whether you’rereturning from an evening out, making a trip to the beach, sightseeing, or connecting to airports or ferry terminals, the professionals involved can offer you a range of vehicles to suit your needs.

Coming by motorhome

Have you decided to come to Corsica with your motorhome or rent a van on arrival? Would you like to discover the landscapes of southern Corsica and the breathtaking views of Bonifacio at your own pace? Please note that unauthorized camping is totally forbidden in Corsica and Bonifacio (failure to comply will cost you €135). The town of Bonifacio prohibits access to beaches and scrubland between 8pm and 8am.

For the best possible experience, we therefore advise you to park in establishments that welcome motorhomes. For a day trip, the Valli parking lot is the place to be. If you have any doubts about where to park and the regulations in force, download the leaflet published by the Police Municipale.
