Description
Off the coast of La Marine, crews will compete in up to 9 races, in a unique setting between the sea, the cliffs and the Citadelle. It's an event to keep an eye on for sailing fans, but also for anyone who wants to enjoy the atmosphere of major sporting events by the sea.
On land, the event will feature a number of highlights, including a Crew Party at the Citadelle and a prize-giving ceremony for the best Open and Corinthian crews.
The Cape 31 is a 9.45-metre racing yacht, renowned for its speed, manoeuvrability and sailing thrills. Designed for regattas, it brings together passionate crews of experienced amateurs and professionals.
With competition at sea, a friendly atmosphere and an exceptional setting, this event promises to be a nautical highlight not to be missed in Bonifacio!
Provisional schedule for the competition below:
THURSDAY 4 JUNE
- Crew Party, time to be confirmed
- Races 1, 2 and 3, scheduled to start at 12.00 noon
FRIDAY 5 JUNE
- Races 4, 5 and 6, timetable to be confirmed
SATURDAY 6 JUNE
- Races 7, 8 and 9, times tbc
- Last warning signal, 2pm
- Prize-giving ceremony as soon as possible after the races
A maximum of 9 races is planned, with a maximum of 4 races per day.
