Altare is rooted in traditional Corsican song. Its sacred and secular repertoire tackles the themes of eternal daily life: desire, nature, work, war, love, violence, exile, remembrance, faith... Familiar territory where drama and joy intertwine, where the spirit soars and the heart finds its way back to the light of the voice. Jean-Laurent Savelli, Fabrice Pasqualini, Jimmy Ronchi and Didier Cuenca have a wealth of musical experience in a variety of island groups, and together they form the Altare group, offering a harmonic encounter in church, a return to the original source, the starting point of our identity, the force field of our culture and the only horizon of our history: the earth. A programme like an offering placed on the altar of time... Full price: €20 (free for children under 12).
