Description
Through her figurative sculptures in terracotta and bronze, as well as her murals, the sculptor Papillon unveils a poetic and dreamlike world populated by shell-women, flower-women, mermaids, coral-men and mischievous children.
Deeply inspired by the Mediterranean, the artist invites visitors on a sensory journey imbued with gentleness and emotion.
Selected several times for the Salon des Artistes Français, she received the City of Ajaccio Jury Prize in 2021. Her work was also exhibited at the Musée de la Corse in 2023 as part of the Cartografia exhibition, dedicated to the Mediterranean.
