On the programme: Robert Schumann’s Piano Quintet, Op. 44, performed by Laura Sibella (piano), Émilie Callesen (violin), Mélody Lagache (violin), Baptiste Athanassiadis (viola) and Hattie McGregor (cello), will open the evening. In the second half, Jean-Baptiste Doulcet will perform Schumann’s ‘Viennese Carnival’ and Chopin’s Four Impromptus. The concert also showcases the young winners of the Cuncorsu Mediterraniu di Pianò: Stella Bourhis, Stella Santini Laurini, Chjarastella Feracci de Cockere, Marina and Lelia Achilli, in a spirit of passing on the torch from emerging talents to established artists.
