Description

During these evenings, access to the underground chambers and the Esplanades of the Bastion de l’Étendard is free and open to all. Whether with family or friends, come and enjoy an immersive and fun experience, centred around history and sport. 7 August: exclusively, the halls of the Bastion de l’Étendard will come alive for a life-size game of Werewolves! The I Meeplacci Association is joining forces with us to bring you a historical adaptation of this classic game, where history, strategy and bluffing come together within the ramparts of Bonifacio! Please note: for this one-off evening, booking is essential and places are limited! For information and bookings, click on the ‘Book’ button or visit the tourist information offices at the Municipal Tourist Office. On the programme: • Medieval games with a modern twist: On the Esplanades du Bastion, come and discover traditional games such as Alquerque, the King’s Game and even the Hare and the Fox, reimagined for the occasion. In a friendly, intergenerational atmosphere, young and old alike can try their hand at these strategy and puzzle games that have stood the test of time. And to add variety, a few games of skill will also round off this fun and festive experience. • Table tennis and pétanque on the ramparts: A table tennis table awaits you on the heights of the Bastion: the perfect opportunity for a friendly sporting duel in an exceptional setting. And for pétanque enthusiasts, a set of glow-in-the-dark boules is waiting to be tried out, so you can keep the fun going late into the night. • Creative workshops for young visitors: Led by Fiona Tacchini, an archaeologist and cultural mediator, these workshops allow children to explore the representation of sport in art history through hands-on, educational activities  Practical information - Free entry Join us… and let the games begin!
