Bonifacio's tourist train
Public transport to the citadelFun, punctual and frequent, Bonifacio’s little tourist train offers a pleasant first approach to the town, linking the Marina to the citadel. The ticket purchased at the port ensures you return to the departure point every 30 to 45 minutes. Departure is always from behind the harbor master’s office. The ticket office is next door. You’ll need to keep these tickets if you want to take the train back to Haute-Ville. Once the train is full, it will take you to the Carotola stop, a stone’s throw from Piazza Fondago, the citadel’s nerve center.
Scooters and motorcycles
Did you know? Due to their smaller size and lower fuel consumption, scooters and motorcycles are less polluting than cars. A good reason to switch to motorized two-wheelers for your visit to Corsica, and Bonifacio in particular.
