Description
Situated not far from Tunara beach (Tonnara in French), which is a rather family-friendly beach, Stagnolu beach has a very different character. Surrounded by granite rocks, it offers all the delights of a natural beach and provides access to the coastal path leading to Cape Fenu.
To get to this beach, park in the car park at Tunara Beach and then take the coastal path that branches off to the left (a short 10-minute walk).
Stagnolu Beach stretches for around 300 metres of fine, slightly pinkish sand, nestled between mountains and dunes. It is an anchorage area for boats, and the seabed drops off quickly to a depth suitable only for strong swimmers.
Please note that naturism is permitted on this beach only within the area marked in red on the attached map. Outside the area marked in red, naturism is strictly prohibited on the beach and throughout the entire municipality.
Within this area, there is also access to the Capu di Fenu coastal path.
Please remember that you are in a nature reserve, the Bouches de Bonifacio. Please observe the rules displayed on the signs and take all your rubbish with you.
