Description
With departures every half hour, you never have to wait long. The ‘station’ is situated on the Marina, just a short walk from the departure points for boat trips.
The climb up to the Upper Town offers a fascinating view of the whole harbour, followed by the famous ‘singing tunnel’ and the arrival at the Carottola (in the Upper Town).
Let’s be precise…
From there, you’re free to wander around the whole town for as long as you like. You can visit the King of Aragon’s Staircase, of course, but also enjoy a spot of shopping in the cool, shaded medieval alleyways.
To head back down, you’ll catch the “Petit Train” from where it dropped you off.
And you’ll find that, once again, it comes in very handy with the weight of all the souvenirs you’ll have bought in the many shops…
Please note: tickets for the mini-train ride can only be purchased at the ticket office located at the Marina departure point and must be kept to allow you to return from the Upper Town to the departure point.
