Founded around ten years ago by three soloists and a pianist with a passion for bel canto, the Lyric Addict Company now comprises solo singers, a pianist and a choir.
The company presents operas in shorter, more accessible versions, known as ‘Les Opéra’courcis’. These performances offer audiences the chance to discover great operatic works in a lively, friendly setting suitable for all audiences.
During this evening, the Lyric Addict Company presents ‘L’Élixir d’amour’, a charity opera recital inspired by the work of Gaetano Donizetti. On the programme: a veritable operatic feast, blending excerpts from a variety of operas presented in shortened, accessible and emotionally rich versions.
A wonderful opportunity to discover or rediscover the great opera arias in a lively and friendly setting, whilst supporting a charitable cause!
