LES PARKINGS DE BONIFACIO

In the centre of Bonifacio, the local council provides four car parks and a short-stay car park on the Marine, as well as a car park on the outskirts with a shuttle bus service to the centre (at the harbour). Please note: the other car parks are reserved for residents and season ticket holders only! There is a charge for using municipal car parks from the start of the spring school holidays until the end of the All Saints’ Day holidays. Furthermore, during the summer season, from mid-May to the end of September, the historic centre of the Upper Town and the south and north quays of the Marine are pedestrianised. Access conditions: Visitors are asked to use only the following car parks: • Next to the harbour: short-stay car park, P1 and P2 • On the way up to the Upper Town: P3 • At the far end of the Upper Town, near the cemetery: P5 • On the outskirts: the Valli car park (at the roundabout, before entering the centre of Bonifacio) and Monte Leone (for tourist buses only). Special features: • Holidaymakers’ pass with sliding-scale rates: this grants access to P5 in the Upper Town, PS2 and PS5 by the marina, and the Valli car park. Priced at €60 for the first week, €40 for the following week and €20 from the third week onwards. Note: holidaymakers must provide a rental agreement and the vehicle registration document to obtain their card from the car park management office. • Motorbikes: 100 free motorbike spaces (Marina & Upper Town) • People with reduced mobility: 23 reserved spaces • Campervans: permitted from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm only, at the Valli car park Capacity of the 5 car parks open to visitors in the town centre: • Short-stay car park: 20 spaces for the general public with free parking for the first 60 minutes, then chargeable. Electric car charging point. Payment by credit card only, payable on exit at the barrier. • P1: 218 spaces reserved for visitors • P2: 131 spaces reserved for visitors and season ticket holders • P3: 66 mixed-use spaces for season ticket holders and visitors • P5: 300 spaces for visitors and season ticket holders. Outlying car parks: • Parking des Valli: 150 spaces for the general public and season ticket holders. Motorhomes permitted from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm. Flat rate of €10 per day. From 16 June until 11 September, a free shuttle bus will run to La Marine from 10.00 to 18.00, with services every 30 minutes. Payment by credit card only, payable on exit at the pay station. • Monte Leone car park: for tourist coaches only (no shuttle service to La Marine). Special festival rates: • During the festivities (Festi Bocca, Festi Lumi, fireworks on 13 July and 15 August), a special rate applies: • Car parks P1 and P5: flat rate of €8 from 5.00 pm to midnight. • Valli car park: flat rate of €10 for the day and evening until midnight. From 16 June until 11 September, from 10.00 to 18.00, a shuttle bus will take you to La Marine. Pay-and-display parking: There are also several pay-and-display zones. However, we would advise you to use the public car parks as the pay-and-display zones are intended for residents of the town of Bonifacio. Prices in these zones are therefore higher and are designed to act as a deterrent. Car Park Management Office contact details: Located on the 2nd floor of the Îles-Sœurs building, opposite the Media Library. The Car Park Management Office is open every day from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
