EXPOSITION : BONIFACIO AU FIL DE L'HISTOIRE

In 2010, the Municipality of Bonifacio published a book devoted to the town’s history, geology, gastronomy, economy and environment. In 2026, under the scientific direction of Émilie Tomas, some fifty specialists have produced a new, expanded edition to provide a better understanding of Bonifacio, from its geological formation to the present day. An exhibition open to all accompanies this publication. It showcases the project’s major discoveries as well as previously unseen archaeological artefacts from the sites of Araguina-Sennola, Cavallo, Piantarella and Montlaur. A cultural programme open to all will complement the exhibition. The town’s heritage department will organise guided tours, complemented by a lecture led by Philippe Colombani, Erick Miceli, Didier Rey and Alain Di Meglio. These events will foster dialogue between specialists and the public on heritage in all its forms. Open to all, this event invites you to explore the many facets of Bonifacio’s heritage and to enrich your visit through discussions with experts.
