Description
On the eve of their mother’s funeral, three siblings gather at the family home, where memories and unspoken truths resurface.
Emmanuel, the eldest son who left the village to settle in the city, is reunited with his sister Paola, who stayed with their parents until their final moments. But the arrival of Pacôme, the youngest son regarded as the family’s ‘outcast’, reignites tensions from the past.
During this wake, emotions run high, family secrets are laid bare and long-buried truths come to light. Each sibling is forced to confront their own wounds and history, under the watchful gaze of their mother who, from beyond the grave, recounts her own version of events.
A poignant play that explores family relationships, the wounds of the past and the weight of silence.
Written and directed by Misandra Fondacci. The cast includes Alizée Pinelli as Paola, the sister; Sampiero Medori as Emmanuel, the elder brother; Annabelle Coti as Andrée, Emmanuel’s wife; Pierrick Tonelli as Pacôme, the younger brother, and Misandra Fondacci as the mother.
