LA MARCHE DES ÉCRIVAINS À BONIFACIO

Founded in 2010 by Ysabelle Lacamp, the Writers’ Walk returns to Bonifacio for the second time, following the first event held in 2013 along the Campu Rumanilu trail. This latest edition has been made possible thanks to Alain Di Meglio, deputy mayor responsible for culture and heritage, and Mychèle Leca, director of Racines de ciel. It also benefits from the support of Anne-Laure Santucci, executive councillor responsible for culture at the Collectivité de Corse; Marie-Pascale Castelli, president of the Corsica Catalunya association; and Norbert Paganelli, president of the Casa di a Puisia di Corsica. Caspar Roth Olivier-Lacamp will be the guest of honour, accompanied by Brigitte Kernel. During the event, a walk around the peninsula, punctuated up to the rampart walk (near the maritime cemetery) by performances and readings – poems and extracts from works – revealing the strength within each person. Reading breaks: 0 – Espace Saint-Jacques, 1 – Town Hall/walkway, 2 – Saint-François battery and fortifications, 3 – Escaliers des deux frères, 4 – Medieval lighthouse, 5 – Maison des Confréries, 6 – Biennale de Renava, 7 – Impluvium barracks/Genoese quarter, 0 – Espace Saint-Jacques. ➝ 6.30 pm: end of the Walk. Return to the Espace Saint-Jacques to meet up with the ‘La Marge’ bookshop and enjoy a convivial moment in a warm atmosphere before the evening concert. ➝ 9.00 pm: as part of the Writers’ Walk and to continue the evening’s celebrations, we invite you to discover more poems set to music with Gianluca Cucciari, Matteu Di Meglio and the artists taking part in the Walk.
